Goldbelt Heritage Foundation | Dugout Canoe Building
PHOTOGRAPHY | POST- PRODUCTION
We were honored to partner with Goldbelt Heritage Foundation to document the traditional Indigenous dugout canoe–building process led by master carver Wayne Price, working alongside his apprentices and the GHF team to help carry this Native Alaskan tradition forward.
The imagery from this project was created with two goals in mind: to serve as a clear educational resource for future canoe-building efforts and Goldbelt Heritage Foundation curriculum, and to artistically capture the story, craft, and cultural significance of this singular canoe project.
